About

High Quality Therapy.

At Fortitudo Therapy, I provide accessible mental health support for individuals in Dorset and Hampshire. I offer both in person and online therapy sessions as an HCPC registered clinical psychologist. My compassionate, evidence based approach focuses on understanding your unique needs and supporting you to achieve your goals.

Dr Raminta Petrauskaite

Clinical Psychologist

I am Dr Raminta Petrauskaite, an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and the founder of Fortitudo Therapy. I established this service to offer care that is both person centred and accessible, so that you feel supported and empowered throughout your therapy journey.

Therapy with me is shaped around you as an individual, rather than fitting you into a fixed approach. I take time to really understand your experiences, your values, and what matters most to you. We work together at a pace that feels right, and you are always involved in decisions about your care. There is no one size fits all model. Instead, I draw on evidence based approaches and adapt them to suit your needs, strengths, and goals.

My aim is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected, so that you can make sense of your experiences and move towards the changes that feel meaningful to you.

Therapy tailored to you

I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, EMDR and mindfulness to create a therapy experience that truly meets your individual needs and helps you achieve your goals.

Therapy where you need it

I offer both in-person sessions in a comfortable location accessible from Dorset and Hampshire (e.g., Christchurch, Southbourne, Bournemouth, Poole, Ringwood and the New Forest) and convenient online sessions, making it easier for you to access support

Understanding the whole you

I believe in looking beyond diagnoses and labels. I will work with you to explore your unique experiences and what they mean to you, helping you make sense of your own story

Supporting the local community

I am passionate about supporting my local community. I offer workshops, consultations and resources to local organisations, helping them better understand and respond to mental health challenges.

Raising awareness

I believe in the power of knowledge. I actively promote mental health awareness in the community, fostering a greater understanding of mental wellbeing.

Working together

I collaborate with local organisations to develop bespoke programmes that meet their specific needs, contributing to a stronger and more supportive community.

Your first step

I offer a free 20-minute consultation to discuss what you are looking for and to explore how I can help you. It’s a change to get to know each other and to ask any questions you may have to decide if I am the right fit for you

Accessible support

I believe that everyone should be able to access mental health support. I offer clear and transparent pricing, with concession rates available for those who need them.

Breaking down barriers

Therapy should feel accessible and possible for everyone. Sessions can be adapted to meet your needs (e.g., shorter sessions, visual aids). My face-to-face clinic is also accessible to those with mobility challenges.
